Thank you LA!

‘Words can’t describe how grateful I am to the city of Los Angeles and all collaborators of the project for making The 14th Factory truly momentous and memorable.

It has been a lifetime of love, loss, fear, pain, hope, history, film, music leading up to this latest work, and is a creative milestone for me personally.

Without having done this outside Asia before and not knowing if anyone is going to turn up and see it, the open-mindedness and welcoming energy of LA has truly been overwhelming and uplifting. So thank you LA – until next time!’

– Simon Birch, Artist and Founder of The 14th Factory

The 14th Factory first opened to public on Saturday, March 11, 2017, and closed its doors on July 30, 2017. Due to an overwhelming response from the City of Los Angeles, it extended its run multiple times. Since its opening, over a span of 4.5 months, the project has had an attendance of over 70,000. The next 14th Factory project will take place in 2018 in another city.

For now, thank you Los Angeles!
