Stanley Wong

Stanley Wong (anothermountainman) is an award-winning curator, graphic designer, photographer and artist based in Hong Kong. As a fundamentally Hong Kong artist, Wong often engages in social issues related to his hometown. His renowned redwhiteblue series, shown at the 51st Venice Biennale (2005) is an exploration of the changing material culture of Hong Kong. A recent convert to Buddhism, Wong happily advocates the values “Faith, Love and Hope” and tries to encourage a meditative dimension to life in the city.

Wong has exhibited, lectured and taught internationally, and his art can be found in many collections, including Deutsche Bank Collection (Hong Kong), Hong Kong Museum of Art, Groninger Museum (The Netherlands) and Victoria & Albert Museum (UK).

In The 14th Factory, Stanley Wong is the graphic designer for the overall project, and his photography, under his artistic moniker of “anothermountain”, is a key component of The Inevitable installation.
